St Paul's was built as a memorial to those who served in World War II. It is an early example of a church in the Modernist style. The interior is more traditional with a carved timber rood screen and elaborately decorated reredos at the rear of the altar. The rood screen and reredos were installed due to the efforts of local grazier and church warden Arthur Warner. Warner salvaged the rood screen and reredos from a Anglican Church in the French Riveria where the items had been removed during World War II. Foundation stone laid in 1950
